Save Our Coast: Hands Across the Sand Umina Beach Sunday 5th May 12noon (ends 1pm)
Save Our Coast is holding Hands Across the Sand 2019 at beautiful Umina Beach at the Central Coast. As 1000 square km of seismic blasting for oil or gas is planned for our coast within PEP 11 (Petroleum Exploration Permit 11 extends for 4,500 square km from Newcastle through the Central Coast to Manly) we’ll meet halfway at Umina, to maximise our show of opposition against PEP 11.
Let’s unite in our thousands for this symbolic global event against offshore oil and gas. Let’s show the federal government and the oil and gas companies the huge opposition to their devastating plans for our coast. Please be there to Save Our Coast.
